Once again the skies are overcast. The temperature is 69 degrees this morning. There’s a chance of rain this afternoon. And the birds are filling the air with birdsong.

Really for the first time in a long time I’m sitting in the rockers on the back porch… Watching springs bursting out all over. Even the red oak tree out back here has finally broken bud. The Cypress trees are all leafing out. About the only thing still bare, as usual, are the pecans.

Well that took longer than I thought it would. So, I’m ready to go in for coffee. Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for our nation and our world.
