It’s nippy outside this morning, 42°. All of the color in the sunrise is to the north, so my pictures don’t show it.
There are some individual crows out and about this morning, cawing as they travel across the yard. The flocks of blackbirds are gathered in the pecans behind the yard. While the goldfinches and the wrens visit the feeders on the back porch.
Taking the grandkids out to the road to catch the bus, it takes the car the entire 30 minutes to warm up. The cold engine light stays on completely for the first one, but it’s off by the time I take the second grandkid to the road. My granddaughter chatters continuously about just about everything. While, the grandson, earbuds in, says nothing at all.
Well, the sun is up, shining brightly and the house is quiet. Sunlight fills the back porch, casting shadows on the ceiling. After untold days of gloomy overcast, it’s nice to be blinded by the sun.
Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation and the world. There’s a lot that needs fixing out there.
Have a wonderful day.
Did you see that moon last night? There was just enough high cloud to make it really pretty. I’m not sure it’s full, but if it isn’t, it’s close.
No… But I watched it setting this morning and it was amazing.
