As you can see, there’s a nice rain shower towards the rising sun. It makes for some amazing cloud formations. But it’s already warm and headed for hot.
The only birds talking this morning are the crows. Construction is going on at one of the two construction sites on this Sunday morning. The beep, beep, beep of machinery cuts the air and a hammer is loudly pounding on something. And a second train is whistling up a crossing down the rails.
There are cows grazing in the right of way, just visible thru the trees. At least, if your neighbors are cows, it’s nice that they aren’t noisy. And still the train is whistling up a crossing down the rails. But… the crows have moved on.
It’s about time to go in and fix breakfast… Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the World.
It was cloudy here this morning, but now we’re in full sun, and I’m spending the day indoors. I’d thought briefly about a little jaunt to somewhere, but then I looked at the predicted heat index and said, “Nope. Not today.”
Did you happen to see that gorgeous cloud at sunset last night? I was driving from a friend’s place out around Algoa-Friendswood Road, and it was unbelievable: colorful, and huge.
It’s been raining here for over an hour. I just heard the first thunder.
When I walked out at sunset about all I could see was trees.
