An overdressed, underpowered morning coffee muses.

The wireless weather station in the bathroom this morning informed me it was in the middle fifties, so i pulled on warmer than normal clothing for my muses. Turns out the difference in temperature from front porch in the shade and the sunny back porch was substantial.

Add to my bad choice of dress the fact that when I turned on my Kindle Fire, after not using it for a couple of days, it was basically dead. So, I grabbed one of my battery backups and  headed out anyway. I took a couple of images and then just enjoyed the morning for a while.

Number Two son and his wife are flying in from New York today for a bit of a two day visit. Flying out of an early winter into a early fall,  It’ll be good to see them since they won’t make it in for the holidays this year.

The weather prognosticators are arguing in the long range forecasts. The Farmers Almanac said this winter was going to be cooler and wetter than normal. Now I’m hearing that there is a La Nina and we’ll be warmer and dryer… Gotta love the consensus of old media and new… Just kidding!

And in light of the celebration yesterday…

We are starting the countdown to 40…
