The First Blue Sky In A Week Breezy Coffee Muses

For the first time in days I can actually sit on the back porch and enjoy a cool breezy morning. Also, for the first time this week, I am not sitting on waterfront property worrying that it might get higher.

After days of steady rains, it’s nice to see sky. And the back side winds sure feel good. Speaking of back side winds, I just checked radar and this goofy storm just doesn’t know when to quit. He’s still chugging along offshore heading for Louisiana.

A morning like this doesn’t happen often in August. It’s a shame it took a flooding tropical storm of epic proportions to give us such a nice morning. The sun is out now and it’s still nice and comfortable.

I’m sure once I go in and turn on the TV I’ll be seeing more high water rescues, more flooded streets and homes. This storm is going to leave months and years of heartache. I’ll predict this will be the last storm named Harvey we ever see.

Time for breakfast..
