H H S Summer Morning Coffee Muses

That’s a hot, humid, sweaty summer’s morning… when I looked at the weather page for my backyard it said the feels like temp was already 97°… The prognosticators are foretelling of another chance of rainy something or other this afternoon. I think I’ll just have to wait and see. But the cicadas are loving the high temperatures this morning. Their buzz is drowning out the crows.

I’m watching our backyard unceasing his way across the yard right now. At least that means it wasn’t him that drew the vultures last week. The cattle egrets are also wandering about. There’s just a slight breeze causing the leaves to move just a bit. And dragonflies patrol the skies.

My Tuesday chores are calling… And my coffee cup is empty.
