Friday morning Coffee Muses… You know you are in trouble when you head for the back porch and you notice the windows are fogged up. These aren’t single pane windows either… double pane low e… and still it’s so humid and warm outside there is condensation on all of them. And today is John Deere day…

Today’s photo is the tablets version of HDR. Not exactly what I think of when I think HDR… Oh well.

The sky is overcast, the air is full of water vapor, the temperature is predicted to hit 90 today… And I have three acres of grass that needs to be taken down to a less ankle hiding height. And to top it all off, there is still water standing in all of the usual places around the yard. What a couple of crazy months…

I finished the first cup on the porch and moved myself to the desk to finish this post… AC and ceiling fans are much better than just the ceiling fans. Makes me recall how we hated those early days of each school year back before they installed AC in Richey Elementary. September was always a month of sleepy afternoons hoping a breeze would blow in all of those open windows… I can still remember how a sweat slicked arm feels sliding over the surface, as you try to do handwriting drills, of that cheap writing tablet paper.

Oh well nostalgia over… coffee cup empty… again
