Tuesday morning coffee… it’s another cooler than normal day for June. The birds were in fine form right up until they were overshadowed by the sounds coming from the construction site 500 ft away. 7:30 came way too early for my taste, I was still enjoying my back porch time.

Blue jays are letting the world, and each other, know they are about on every side of my yard. I can’t tell how many are out there but, they are almost blanketing the noise of the bulldozer working just over the line. Now that is one bird call I will never mistake for song.

Time to get moving…
