I don’t know about you, but I have a few. Some of them I share with my wife. The problem we always have had was trying to comfortably share the laptop screen with each other for the length of the show.
And while, I have always know I could use the big screen in the living room to hookup to and share, I never bought the cables because shopping locally they were ridiculously overpriced for a convenience. Besides, I always kinda liked the togetherness of having my wife sit in my lap as we shared an episode or two. But when I decided to finally replace the old analog TV in the kitchen with a new flat screen the idea of hooking up the laptop took on a whole new dimension….
After looking around for a day or two whenever I was in a store, making a special trip by Best Buy (and wondering where they got the name), I did what I should have done first and let my fingers do the walking (sorry Yellow Pages) and searched Amazon. I found a really scary good price on a 25′ VGA cable with 3.5mm Audio that seemed too good to be true…But what the hey. So I placed my order. With free two-day shipping the total was all of 12.19…
The cables arrived yesterday and I have to admit I was more than impressed. I spent many years setting up meetings and conventions for a living, and while I wasn’t part of the AV team I saw a lot of their work. These cables are as good as any I’ve seen. And at less than $.50 per foot, you can’t beat the price…At least not anywhere I’ve found around here…
So if you have a need to hook up your laptop to a flat screen TV, and it has a RGB computer input, try these guys out….
