For the last couple of days here we have been having really beautiful weather. Overnight lows in the low 50’s warming up slowly into the low 70’s. Cloudless, scrubbed blue skies. You know, the kind of weather a large portion of the country comes to expect in the height of summer but we only see seldom in spring and fall..And more often in the depth of winter. It was so nice yesterday that I hung the TrekLight Hammock from the old motor hoist frame/swing set out behind the house and spent some time soaking up some vitamin D while grandson #2 napped in the house…Before last years fiasco they named Ike, I would not have seen any sun hanging around in that location, now from mid morning on that is all you do see.
Today we woke up to a temperature already at 70°…So the yo-yo is on the way back up until another front makes it’s way through the area later in the week. This is what the weather prognosticators are calling for this week…

like I said, yo-yo weather…So you can understand my envy of the fall color reports coming in from different parts of the country…So far our fall color is green.
