As much as I remember starting the days we’ve spent up on the mountains watching the fog rise out of the valleys and burn off, it seems the fogs of home have been more prevalent this year. Leaving the house to go to work each day brings me face to face with the sun rising through the fog. Usually I have to stop for a minute to enjoy the view. If the view is especially interesting, I have to pull out the camera and take a chance that I can capture an image worth sharing. Here is one I caught before our trip that got passed over due to the images of the fall colors burned into my memory as our mountain journey commenced…
Speaking of fall colors…We still do not seem to have any around here. Leaves are falling from some of the trees, some of the trees are already bare, but in only a few places have I seen anything you could actually call fall colors. Mostly we are still duotone, green and brown…brown and green. I noticed that most of the fall flowers didn’t bloom like they normally would. As a mater of fact in all of the fields I normally see oceans of fall color there was nothing this year…
Time to run….Catch ya on the other side.
