I am just about moved into this new blogging machine. New computers are such a pain as you try to get all of the essential programs installed…Even the ones you forgot were essential right up until they were needed. But I am beginning to feel comfortable that I can get the work done on this system (and with much less venting and blistering of the air).
With that said I can now go back to posting the occasional image from my wanderings in reality and not just chance finds from the virtual world…So here is an image from last weeks commute:
Morning Drive to Work
This is a field I pass every morning on the way to work. The one thing I wasn’t able to capture is the purple haze the seed heads cause to float above the grasses in the morning sun. Just behind me in this shot are nine lanes of concrete that make up Texas Highway 6 as it travels north from Galveston to the west of Houston and on into the heart of Texas. I have covered quite a bit of it’s length over the years, but I have yet to travel it’s opposite end.
