While most of the country encounters a Christmas Snow with a fair amount of regularity, this is the only known Christmas Day Snow in Brazoria County, Texas. I would think that would rate it as an “oddity”.
On Christmas Eve 2004 the snow began to fall at about 10pm. It continued to come down into the wee hours of Christmas morning. My family spent most of the night out playing in this uncommon gift…So much so that Christmas Morning didn’t happen until almost noon…
