The 10th of June, Twenty Twenty-two

It’s Friday

Hello… So says my granddaughters chalk art on the back porch when I walked out. She’s been busy out there covering quite a bit of the porch with her chalk art.

Though when I walked out I wasn’t paying much attention to the ground beneath my feet. I was looking at the mostly blue sky and green surroundings. But the humidity slapped me in the face so I didn’t stay out there very long at all… Just long enough to take the pictures and to feel the heat, it’s 79° right now with a 90% humidity… and that just makes the decision to have my coffee muses inside today that much easier.

So right now, I’m looking out my back windows at the same view you are and listening to Alison Krauss playing off the computer… Which just segued into Alan Jackson. Go figure.

Once again the prognosticators have issued a special weather alert. It was issued at 4:11 a.m. but it reads almost word for word like the one from yesterday… Heat index values between 100 and 106 degrees are expected across much of southeast Texas today with higher values anticipated over the weekend.

I see from looking at the radar that much of the central portion of the nation has some pretty nice thunderstorms working. It looks like much of Arkansas is under heavy rains at the moment. With the coast from New Orleans to Florida showing showers too. We sure could use some of that rain…

Well, Brad Paisley‘s playing now. So I guess I’ll shut this off and have my coffee… Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for this dysfunctional nation and the world… I’ll catch y’all on the other side.
