Saturday, June 15

It’s early evening on the back porch. Shadows stretch across the yard and the neighbor is mowing. It’s been a long rest between blog posts…

My yard could use a good mow too. Monday will be two weeks… again. I will say it’s managed to stay green with the fewer, longer cuttings.

But, then everything is really green this summer, even as the temperature had topped 90º day after day .. and the feels like temps past 110º.

The Sahara dust they threatened us with doesn’t seem to have materialized.

  1. Good to see you, Gary! And that green world you live in is looking really good. If we can get a little more rain out of this next system, we ought to be able to extend our green a little longer, even with the heat. I hope your father’s day was a good one, and you were properly pampered!

    1. Hi Linda, I don’t know about you, but last night brought plenty of new moisture at my place.
Father’s day brought me messages of love from all of my kids… and grandkids.
