The Change in the WWW

Looking back through my old archives brought a quiet realization: the open web we built in 2006 has largely moved on. Where we once gathered around RSS feeds and thoughtful blockquotes over morning coffee, modern algorithms push frantic video stitches and performative noise. The internet traded slow dialogue for a crowded stage, but I will gladly keep these quiet Gulf Coast mornings, a fresh hot mug, and the written page.
