Monday April 3rd
It’s already warm and muggy this morning.. The temperature is 74°. The guys at Space City weather are predicting the high today will approach 90°. Not exactly what I would like for an early spring day.
Right now it’s very still. And other than the traffic, the sounds on the front porch are mostly bird songs. The weather guys though, they say the winds will kick up today out of the south bringing in more heat and humidity off of the Gulf.
It’s definitely grass growing season. But I like the interspersing of spring flowers scattered through the yard. If I was a house beautiful type of guy, they would bother me. But in the past at this time of year, I would sometimes go a month between mowing’s just to let the flowers grow. And my yard is anything but a mono culture of lawn grass… And that’s the way I like it.
Well I need to move on.. I have some video to work on, and a painting I’m playing with, and a book I’m reading.. Weighty subjects all.
