It definitely feels like summer outside this morning. The temperature when I woke up was 78°. The humidity is so high it’s like a slap in the face when you walk outside. And while the precipitation chances are high today, the last I saw the predicted amount of precipitation is right around a half an inch.
The morning radar though shows most of the rain that’s out there right now is to the north and east and moving east and north. Of course, this being Texas, there’s a frontal boundary a couple hundred miles west and north of us. So depending upon what happens as the frontal boundary moves or doesn’t move… We could be in for thunderstorms.
Hopefully, not that the rain wouldn’t be appreciated, it’ll hold off until the lawn crew finishes grooming my yard. Of course, most of what they have left to do has nothing to do with the lawn and more to do with trees and shrubs. For all intents and purposes the lawn was finished yesterday by noon.
In the world I agree the yard needed this heavy grooming, I tend to agree with my grandson that as they finish in area it just looks sorta empty. And while the ladies in the house would like to see more empty I think I’ll just keep a little bit of fullness to make the men folk feel more comfortable.
And just so you folks don’t think I totally forgotten about politics in America… It sure seems to me like the Republican party is trying to wipe out every advance in America since the Kennedy/Johnson administrations… And personally, I don’t understand their wanting to regress that far.
But enough of that, it’s laundry day and I have chores… So y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation and the world.
Have a glorious spring Tuesday.
