Monday, 10th of May

It definitely feels like summer this morning… Early summer at least. It was 76° when I woke up this morning. Humidity had fallen the double pained windows in the house. According to the prognosticators the projected high for the day is 86°.

The really funny thing in the forecast is the chance of rain on Wednesday… The chance of rain is almost in 100%. Oh the accumulation amount projected is almost non-existent. That’s pretty much the way our rain forecast have been for months. High percentage forecast of chances, but, low accumulation totals… And actual accumulations are usually lower than forecast.

Setting out waiting for the buses this morning I was having fun watching the whistling ducks as they flew from tree to tree in yard across the road. There seem to be multiple pairs hanging out around here again. I’ve seen at least three pair today,

And once again I have to drive into Houston for a doctor’s appointment. That’ll shoot half a day in the foot. Almost a full hours drive to and from. With probably close to an hour at the office. Is this what being a senior citizen is all about? This will be my fourth trip to a doctor’s office in 3 weeks for routine matters…

Really sad thing is it’s to three separate facilities for the same healthcare organization in three different directions from home. So if I wanted to manage these visits more effectively, I still couldn’t do it.

At least before this visit I could eat breakfast. So I suppose, I should in this muse and get started… Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation and the world.

Enjoy this new week.
