Fog. The weather prognosticators say it’s a dense fog. Out here on the back porch it’s as dense as I’ve seen this fall… but not really all that dense. Just another fall sunrise of cool portents.

The dense air is helping the traffic sounds travel from the bypass with a little more volume than the past few days. Even though I’m a little late for peak traffic time.

School is out today. Seems it’s competing holidays… the one I grew up with, Columbus Day and the newer Indigenous Peoples Day. I think I’ll celebrate the latter, Columbus stumbling across something he wasn’t expecting some four hundred years of more after the Norse had already done so just doesn’t seem celebratory.

Speaking of Indigenous people, I just binge watched my way through Yellowstone. I enjoyed the series as much as I thought I would back when I tried to watch it on the Paramount streaming service. So I guess the Peacock came through, after coming to an agreement over Roku’s add revenues.

I think I’ll go in and take the opportunity to see the news this morning since I don’t have to worry about interrupting school lessons.

Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the world. Tomorrow starts early voting here in Texas. I plan to vote, you should plan to vote too… if you haven’t already.
