Imelda… she’s brought over 24 hours of almost constant rainfall. Somewhere in the 6 – 8 inches of rainfall overnight. And once again the schools around here are closed. So we once more have a houseful.
It’s gonna be a long day.
But even with the rain, the hummingbirds are fighting over the feeders.
Here’s what it looks like…
We’ve had plenty of rain, but nothing like areas south and west. Clear Creek’s on the rise, but the other bayous seem to be find. By tomorrow, it ought to be lifting out. Now, I need to wait and see if I can get to the dentist this afternoon. As always, the feeder roads and underpasses are the big issue. If it’s nasty, it’ll be time to reschedule.
I haven’t ventured out… And probably wont until late afternoon. The rain is light, but it keeps falling. I did manage to steal the tv from the granddaughter… Stay dry Linda.
