Friday, October Twenty-sixth

It’s much cooler, and sunnier for this end of week morning coffee muses.

There’s a hummingbird visiting the feeders this morning. And crows… all around, individual crows are cawing. I hear a bluebird in the trees out front.

The temperature this morning is in the low to mid fifties, depending on which sensor you check. The clouds are drifting slowly to the east-northeast. There’s just barely a breath of a breeze.

On these cool, crisp days of fall the traffic sounds from the highways are more prominent. The sound of tires on pavement from a quarter mile away… or more, push their way to my front door.

The squirrels are busy searching out acorns and pecans to store for winter meals. Hopping around on the ground, running up into the trees, no games being played this morning… they can feel winter coming.

On another note, let’s look at what’s happening in America the last couple of days. Attempted assassination of two past presidents. Along with other top Democrats and Trump’s most hated news organization. And the Liar-in-Chief is blaming the toxic atmosphere in the country on the mainstream media.

He takes no responsibility for his words here in Houston, no responsibility for his words ever. He stokes the fires of anger then blames the firemen in the media when the flames get out of control. It would be easy to change the tone in this country. Just get the President to shut the  fuck up for a while. Take his unsecured phone away from him to stop the tweets,  and the Chinese and Russians from listening in… piss on the email server,  this is so much worse.

Time for me to go in and see what “our President” has done this morning.
