Thursday, August Twenty-third

It’s cooler, not as humid, on the front porch for this morning coffee muses.

There are a lot of clouds in the sky this morning. Especially to the south and east. The sun is having difficulty breaking through…. not that I’m complaining.

It’s the last workday of the cities workweek, and I’ve seen no evidence yet that they are going to get anything done out at the ditch.

There is a train moving slowly through town with an extremely loud horn blowing.

A hummingbird is flashing it’s ruby throat in the mimosa tree.

Watching traffic moving on the road can be slow at times. It also leads to strange observations. Such as the predominance of white or silver vehicles that pass by.

And in the news… a repeating of the line “he did nothing wrong… he did nothing wrong…. he did nothing wrong”. There are a lot of witches pleading guilty in this witch hunt.

For the third time in my lifetime a President’s actions are causing a constitutional crisis. What a con…

I’m done for the morning…
