Tuesday, August Fourteenth

Condensation on the windows, my reading glasses fogged over, the tablet needing to be wiped down… a humid morning coffee muses.

The temperature is moderate for the season.

I see the garbage truck no longer hits our place just after 7a.m. Their schedule is almost an hour later these days.

A female rubythroat is the first bird on a feeder this morning. I hear a Mississippi Kite calling.

The mosquitoes are getting bad again. It’s the little bitty almost no-seeums. And once again, I hadn’t noticed any until the mosquito spraying plain went flying over a few days back.

The blue jays are bunching up again. Small groups wandering around looking for food. They’re loud when they start traveling in any numbers.

The coffee cup is running low. Time to move on…
