Anticipating A Taste Of Fall Morning Coffee Muses

The weather prognosticators are foretelling of cooler temperatures coming our way. They foretell of north winds tomorrow and morning lows in the 60’s. I find myself anticipating actually enjoying a week of that kind of morning experience. But, for today, it’s the same ole same ole.

Today’s chore is a long slow Deere meditation. The grass is two weeks high and the front yard is filled with twigs. I’ll give it another hour for the dew on the grass to mostly dry, but I’ll want to hit it as early as possible before the temperature gifts to high.

In the world of birds in my backyard… The jays are back. Blue jays are everywhere. I am also hearing a background chirping that I don’t recognize. What I’m not seeing are my cardinals. After a summer of having dozens in the yard all of the time, seeing none is unsettling.

Breakfast calls, along with another cup of morning muses. Stay safe and keep an eye on Irma. A cat 5 and heading towards America.
