It’s a late lunch for a Sunday…

I’ve spent the morning lost in genealogy research. I’ve been working with the AI to do some things that when I did them manually used to take me many trips to the Clayton Library in Houston. And while I enjoyed going to the library, having someone else doing the digging through multiple counties and multiple surnames at the same time is awesome.

So taking a break for a quick lunch is really needed. And a Whataburger, while maybe not in keeping with a healthy diet, is definitely a Texan thing to do.

It’s another beautiful spring day in the middle of winter. It started out so foggy and turned out so bright and clear. And with a temperature in the upper 70’s… I’ll stand by that spring analogy.

The photo below is from yesterday. But my front yard looks the same today. Sparse leaves on an oak tree against a too blue to be real sky.

It’s too bad my yard trees are still showing so much damage from the past few storms we’ve had. They are beginning to look like I feel these days.

  1. I will have to talk with you sometime about the use of AI for genealogy. I hadn’t thought of that, and it seems like something for which the AI would offer a real benefit. Interesting…

    1. You just have to watch it. It makes assumptions like my lawyer cousin used to based on the preponderance of the evidence and assumptions of human behavior as it understands them. Then it’s very much sure of it’s assumptions as facts.
