It’s Sunday morning as I start this post… If just barely. But no matter the time I just poured what will be my last cup of coffee for the day.
I can’t say I’ve done much this morning. After I posted an old family portrait on Facebook yesterday more than one person asked for an updated shot. Since that was probably the last time Sherry and I posed for photo together, I spent some time putting together a couple of recent photos in a portrait setting. While there is a bit of AI fluff added it wasn’t intentional. Here’s what I posted for the folks asking,,,
Sherry wasn’t happy with it, said she saw the same thing every time she looked in the mirror. Me I think it improved my beard too much. But that seems to be what the model does even when you don’t want or ask it to.
But all in all, I can live with results.

I was visiting the Redtree Times, GC Myers’ Blog yesterday and he had posted a daily song from Rising Appalachia. Amusingly, I’ve followed the group for almost twenty years ever since (I think) my eldest daughter shared a Paste CD with something of theirs’s on it. The music caught my ear before the name rang a gong in my imagination… So when within a day I stumbled across them in Facebook Reels (and I almost never jump down that rabbit hole) I could feel my Coordinator of Synchronicity persona kicking in. And then I discovered a button to share a reel with custom html code… So here you are:
