It would seem the Iranians are in good company. Or maybe, they are just a member of the majority around the world. Trump tends to betray everyone eventually. I feel sorry for the Iranian protesters, but mostly, I feel sorry for the world at large.
My wife seems to lean more towards the nurture side of the childrearing side of the argument over nature/nurture. She is always saying how she’s saddened by how he must have been raised to be the way he is. Me, I lean the other way. Nothing I’ve ever read or heard him say screams any thing other than nature. He’s just a natural bully. He’s a bully who never grew up. It could be said that he gives all other bullies a bad name.
On Ground News this morning I saw this headline:

Now, doesn’t that just beat hell? From what I’m seeing in today’s headlines that’s Trump and Viktor Orbán so far agreeing to be on the board. When you look at the way it’s set up, this could be a Trump University scam writ large. It also depends on the way the leadership would pass on at Trump’s death. What with a 1.5 billion dollar buy-in and Trump controlling the money, what could go wrong? And what part of Peace does Trump, Putin, and Orbán have in common? From what I’m seeing, if Trump wants to spread his wings and lead the Board of Peace, be Interim President of Venezuela, and Titular Head of the Trump Crime Family maybe he should just resign as pResident for Life of the USA.
Almost twenty years ago I wandered down the Internets and stumbled upon a world of bloggers who lived in the Appalachian Mountains. I made some friends, I made some acquaintances, I followed some people whom I never met. One of my buddies was Fred First out of Floyd, Virginia. He published a book from the essays he put up on his blog. I enjoyed the book and did something I almost never do… I published a review on Amazon. Long story even longer, I started playing around with AI generated music yesterday. I took a copy of the review just for the hell of it. Then I tweaked the words a bit. Finally, I gave it a voice. Considering everything, I’m just a little proud of the outcome. Listen if you want…
A few years after I posted this my wife and I did make a trip to Goose Creek Run. Over the course of an afternoon we did everything in the song except for visiting the falls. Fred has moved from there now, but, I still dream back to those days and a creek with no name.
