Thursday August 31st

Yesterday was the first morning in a long, long time that it was actually pleasant sitting on the front porch. So much so, that even though I turned the fan on, I had to get up and turn it back off because the wind chill was actually chilly. This morning isn’t quite as pleasant.. but even with that said, I am not forced to turn the fan on. So I must be thankful for small pleasures.

One thing I am noticing this morning is the tire sounds on the bypass. I am not sure why they are so noticeable this morning.. but they are.

Well, the second grandchild is on the bus and I have things to do today.. so I really must get in and fix something for breakfast. Because I really must hit the road before the morning gets too far away from…
