The guys over at Space City Weather her promising that this will be the end of our 90° plus daytime highs. Here’s a weak cool front headed our way this week followed by a stronger one next week. The foretelling from the prognosticators tends toward a pleasant fall…

The front porch, as I wait for the school bus, is pleasant enough this morning.

From our neighborhood construction site, I hear them loading up the last of the bulldozed trees. Yesterday I saw a line of large container trailers waiting to be loaded. I would imagine they’re headed for chippers… Nobody seems to be able to get enough mulch these days.

Hell the bus is here. So, I’m headed in… I’ll catch you on the other side.
