It’s Friday

It’s been another day of listening to thunder… Watching lightning… And only seeing about 5 minutes of rain. The video above shows a loop from this morning to this afternoon…

One of the magnolias out in the front bed has lost 95% of its leaves. My small apple tree in the back is now brown. The grass except under trees or around septic sprinklers is all brown.

And yet, day after day, there is heavy rain falling just north of us… Or just west of us… Or just east of us… just not on us.
