It’s Monday

Well, once again, the rains that fell yesterday… Fell around us not on us. It’s really becoming the story of the summer. Thunderstorms passing so close you can feel the mist in the air… But, little or no rain actually falls on our house.

There was an afternoon in the last week what I almost went out and filmed the shower that was falling. Sadly, before I could, the rain stopped. Saturday afternoon I was driving back from the store and just across the bypass water was running down the gutters. When I got home my driveway was dry. And so it goes… Day after day… Thunder rumbles and rolls, lightning flashes, black clouds loom menacingly to pass by ever so closely.
