Friday
There is a bit of ground fog this morning. We had a great light show last night as the front moved through. It was one of the better thunder and lightning events of the year.
And… I woke up to an empty house this morning. The daughter and grandkids have hi-tailed it to South Texas for a long weekend at Garner State Park. I hope the expected high heat index doesn’t put a damper ( as in many hours in the river ) on their fun.
Our eldest son stopped by to get his screened shelter from the storage shed as he’s headed for the beach after work on Saturday.
The younger son will be picking me up this morning to go to see my surgeon about my foot. Hopefully, I will at least be set free to get behind the wheel of my vehicle again.
Well, another week has passed in this dysfunctional world… And our dysfunctional government is on the verge of being… God only knows what. But for all of that I’m still moving on the top side of this earth and so are you… So have a great day and I’ll catch you on the other side.
Good luck at the doctor. Being grounded’s no fun at any age!
Thanks Linda
