Well, the heat is back and the humidity is up and it’s miserable out on the back porch.

According to the wunderground had already feels like 95° outside. And today’s chance of a cooling shower is only at 12%. It’s going to be really really hot this weekend. At least our actual temperatures aren’t quite as high as the ones in the northern tier of states.

Just look at all of that orangish red… And that’s at 8:00 a.m.

Judging by the number cattle egrets I’m seeing each day, I’m beginning to feel like a farmer whose cattle have all wondered off and left the birds behind.
