I already miss the cool morning temperature of yesterday. It’s 71° outside this morning. It’s going to be a hot one today.
Looking at the satellite images and the radar images there’s just a bit of moisture moving in off the gulf. As you can see in the images above it’s cloudier to the east that it is to the west. The Prognosticators or even foretelling of a small chance of a.m. thunderstorms tomorrow.
It appears that the first hatching of bluebirds is already left the nest. I had a couple of what appeared to be young fledgling birds on the back porch. Which is an uncommon location to see adult bluebirds. They really weren’t checking out the feeders so much it’s just sitting and watching.
I also spotted one of my neighborhood Mississippi kites yesterday soaring over the yard. I really miss the dead tree they used to sit upon in the morning in the evenings. It’s been 2 or 3 years now since somebody took the tree down. I was never exactly sure which yard on Jones Street The tree was located in. But I loved having that family of kites living in the neighborhood.
Well, I see blooms on the mimosa tree… Looks like mother nature has decided summer is here. Here’s a nice breeze blowing this morning. It’s really comfortable standing out on the front porch.
I see my angel trumpets are coming back from the roots after the February freeze. They’ve been frozen back before, and every time so far they’ve managed to come back.
Well it’s time to start my day… So, Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for the nation in the world… We aren’t out of this yet.
Enjoy your weekend doing whatever you do on your weekends.
