Thanksgiving
Our fireplace mantle…
Today is a day of giving thanks… A special day set aside to remind us of something we should be doing every day… but sadly, we really do need reminding.
So, Thank You for stopping by. Thank You for sharing your life with me.
Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and Pray for our Nation and the world. Say a prayer of thanks for still being here in a democratic republic experiment that’s still working.
I’ve never seen anything quite like those figurines on your mantle. They’re quite wonderful — gave me quite a smile. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Gary. Who knows? Perhaps even Christmas will be a little less fraught with concern. We can hope.
Thanks Linda, We were planning to push the envelope a little and have our grown kids to dinner with our grandkids. Already today our oldest called all upset with her boss because he was exposed and now she doesn’t know her status. So she will not be coming. Our oldest son has an upper respiratory infection so he’ll be eating on the back porch. We will all be masked and social distancing together. I have a feeling Christmas will just be a repeat…
You have a blessed Thanksgiving… To bad you can’t be enjoying it in the Hill Country..
