Another wintery look to a not so wintery feeling morning coffee muses.

The overcast is complete. The wind is making the front porch chimes sing. It looks like exactly what it is… the depth of winter. But, as is often the case along the Texas gulf coast,  the temperature is heading north of midwinter norms.for this time of year for much of the country.

Sitting in my recliner, looking out the back windows… I can feel a kinship with my northern friends. It looks cold out with the wind moving the trees back and forth. But, it’s a mirage.

Stay warm out there. Especially those of you suffering through the polar vortex .
