Tuesday, September Twenty-fifth

Mostly cloudy, not too warm nor humid, late morning coffee muses.

Only small patches of blue show thru the clouds covering the sky. It’s cool enough that the small amount of breeze off the ceiling fans can keep the brow from sweating… though, if the sun bursts thru for any length of time the battle will turn quickly.

Another chore on this chore day… The hummingbird feeders are looking almost empty. Time to make a new batch of sugar water.

Looking at the butterfly weed across the back of the house I’m noticing that every leaf has been stripped. All I see on the stems are rather large snails.

The last time I mused from the back porch there was still a lot of foliage on those stalks.

The clouds are slowly moving north. Maybe north-northeast.

Coffee’s running low, temperatures are rising… I think I’ll move this inside… later
