Overcast with high clouds, it doesn’t seem to cool anything for this morning coffee muses.

Cicadas buzz, dragonflies are mostly missing in action. The Kites are out on Jones Street. Cattle egrets are wandering in the neighbor’s yard.

It almost feels and looks like rain… but, the prognosticators aren’t foretelling of any till later in the week. Then the rain chances go up for days and days… at least for now. This is Texas after all, weather forecasts are subject to change right up until they become weather history.

I’m out a bit early, and so far at least, not a single bird has visited the feeder.

I took a break and read my email. That led me to a Texas Monthly article out of West U about a lady who made a fool of herself and had social media blow up. I think the thing that really blew my mind was the one “conservative ” commenter who probably had 40% of the comments telling everyone how deranged liberals really are… Mainly because they disagree with him. Amazing read…
