Too Hot, Too Humid, Too Late For Morning Coffee Muses

Sorry about the lateness… I jumped down the genealogy rabbit hole this morning. I had an email yesterday from a cousin with an analysis of the DNA results on our shared Cox ancestry. The DNA results have us all sharing DNA with three lines of Cox families living in Limestone County Texas in 1850. We always assumed these three families were related, DNA now shows the relationship was there.

Family History can be an all consuming hobby… I try to hold it at bay so it doesn’t take over.  The Cox’s mentioned above came to Texas from Mena, Arkansas prior to 1850. By 1860 many were living in Austin.

Time to dive back down the rabbit hole…
