Another In A Line Of Cool Beautiful Morning Coffee Muses

Mid-fifties this morning. Rush hour traffic is loud. But, then again, so are the birds. Traffic noise usually stays intrusive until about 8:30, then it starts winding down. By 9:00 – 9:30 we are back in the country quiet zone. I love my country quiet zone…

I caught sight of the cottontail from the bedroom window before I came out. It was down at the edge of the woods on the other side of the wisteria from the porch… hiding in full view. We are already seeing hummingbird battles at the feeders. At this time of year I only set out one on each porch so battles are common. By the end of summer I’ll have a dozen out for the migration south. Looks like we may have one little dictator trying to control both feeders… lots of luck with that.

I’ve been killing a lot of time playing with WikiTree.com, adding my genealogy to their one world tree. I have already found a number of connections on several branches. The funny thing about the way they work… I had to get permission from a cousin of my wife to edit my wife and oldest daughter. I couldn’t even add them to my family…

Well my coffee cup is empty…
