The Anticipation Of A Winter Event…

The prognosticators are keeping the hopes of children of all ages alive across Southeast Texas…

Weather forecasters are more confident Houston will see snowfall beginning Friday afternoon, but whether that snow sticks to the ground and accumulates remains a big question.

“I would say right now it could be anywhere from snow flurries to some accumulation,” said Robert Van Hoven, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, on Wednesday afternoon. “We might get some accumulation, there's no doubt about that — but how much, it's hard to say.”

In a year when the fight over the reality of Global Warming is still being bashed about, Mother Nature continues to confuse the confused…Cooler than normal weather across most of America for most of the year makes it easier for those  arguing against to press their point.

The problem we will come to see isn’t going to be constant warming but the extreme swings and the storms that they cause…

But be that as it may…I’ll take snow in Houston. Early, late or any time of the year…But…Truth be told, I think I’d rather see it in July or August when I could rally enjoy it…
