When I walked out this morning for the bus run, there wasn’t a bit of fog in the air. As a matter of fact, there was no moisture on my car. A little over an hour later and all of a sudden the fog had rolled in.
Good morning, it is a pleasant 70° even if it is quite muggy now. And we have a chance of light rain today… Not a big chance, but a chance. We’ll take anything we can get.
In the past few weeks, the political news just keeps getting worse. The presidents disregard for the rule of law grows as his mental capacity seems to wane. At some point, his enablers will have to break down and do their constitutional jobs. If we are lucky it will happen sooner rather than later.
I find myself listening to Keith Olberman more and more here lately. I haven’t done that in quite a few years. It’s nice to have his snark back in my ears. I’m also spending a lot of time listening to Heather Cox Richardson. She has a way of making politics. Understandable in a historical if not hysterical way.
Oh well, breakfast is calling, so I should leave this Muse right here and head to the kitchen.
