Wednesday Morning and the Weather is Fine

Yesterday the sun rose into a cloud covered sky. We caught a glimpse of it for about 5 minutes before it hid it’s face for the rest of the day, Granted, the little bit of a moment when it was there was really very nice.

Then we were cloudy for the rest of the day. Watching the radar off and on, it was amazing how many rain storms passed by just to our north,

We caught a few showers throughout the day, But, it was only after about midnight that the front hit and the rains came down.

This morning dawned to rain puddles everywhere. You could also see the little bits of organic flotsam lining every one of the areas where the water pooled last night.

After getting everyone up and out the door this morning I decided to make some of those Texas Kolaches I wrote about earlier. This was pretty much the first time I’ve done these that they completely missed the mark. They didn’t end up looking like pigs in a blanket so much as logs on a bed. Not my best effort… But flavor-wise they really hit the mark this morning.

I put my AI to work first thing this morning doing some “Deep Research” into the Appalachian Mountains in Vermont for my Appalachian Mountain Dreams website/on-line magazine. I spent a lot of yesterday working on reworking my New England sites. I started with Maine and made it through New Hampshire before calling it a night.

My goal is to work my way down the mountain chain bringing my state sites up to date and trying for a commonality of looks, layouts, and voice. Pluss, since these sites go back for well over a decade, some of the posts have broken with videos and photos not being linked still. I can also utilize the AI to expand upon the research I did originally.

Well the cup is half empty and I need to get on to Vermont. So I’ll leave you with a song that I put together a few days ago. I haven’t even put it up on Youtube yet.
