Aging…As I approach another anniversary of my arrival into this world, I find myself dwelling on the concept of aging more and more. Pausing to contemplate an almost full moon rising behind a winter’s bare pecan in my front yard I find myself wondering how I got to this point more often than not. But… Life cannot be lived at all without the dubious pleasures of aging. Whether we do it well or not, matters not in the broader scheme of things. Because, if you are alive you are aging. I walked out on the front porch this morning to a very enjoyable feeling. The temperature on said porch being 58 degrees for the start of our day. The prognosticators are giving us a foretelling of a 70 degree high with a growing chance of rain. So much for winter… Though there was a rumor going around the past few days about 2′ of snow on the 15th of the month. The guys at Space City were doing their best to disabuse anyone asking. But you know what they say, once burned and all that… Everyone remembers “Valentine’s Day freeze Houston” in February 2021. That was when we experienced a winter like a big chunk of the country is experiencing right now.

Before I went to bed last night I took a walk down a fantasy road and put together the image above. Elves and dwarves, humans and Khajiit, just another friendly night at the local tavern… Swords are optional.
The other day I discovered Kelly Boesch. Her surreal worlds captivated me. I came across her on Facebook when the Reels somehow were triggered. And right away a half dozen or so of her’s invaded my little section of reality. The style was reminiscent of something I dimly recall from much earlier in my life. Since then I have been actively going into the Reels section seeking more of her creations to visit. Here is one that caught my attention this week…
