It’s the second day of the year.

It’s the second overcast day of the year.

It’s the first day of the year to feel like winter.

The only carryover from the holiday season is the undecorated tree in the corner. Today will mark the last day of this season that it will stand there. The tree will return to its box for another year.

Just for the record, the morning started off at 44°. It’s going to stay cloudy with a chance of rain. And the high for the day isn’t expected to climb out of the 50s.
