Friday April 28th
It’s one of those beautiful, seldom seen, cool and bright spring days. This year has been particularly uncommon in the scarcity of bright, clear days.
Good morning’s temperature is 60°. The winds are calm. And there’s just a touch if you get it to your mirror. Though honestly, the forecasted high looks to be a bit uncomfortable at 83°.
We’ve now reached that season of the year when the rising sun shines all the way down the front porch.. from end to end. 30 ft of in your eyes sunshine if it’s not hidden by the clouds. That means we’ve reached the time of the year when the back porch is shaded all day long.
Well, once again the grandkids have ridden way on the bus. So my front porch contemplation has come to an end.. almost before it began. As the grandkids climb on the bus and the bus driver gives me a wave the day can actually begin.
Here’s a shot of my “creative” corner of my living room…
I use the GC Myers print as a cover for whatever I’m working on on the easel. I have to say that I am amazed at the print itself. The original is called “Steps to Solitude” and is a compact 3″ by 6″ painting on paper. As you can see the print is much larger… Which just makes it that much easier to get lost in that snow covered world. Thanks Zita.
Time for me to get going… I’ll catch y’all on the other side.. enjoy your Friday.
