The line of showers moved through last night at about 4:00 a.m. . I woke up to thunder but don’t recall any lightning.. though it had to be there in order for the thunder to happen. Today’s temperature is 66°and even though there are puddles on the ground it feels drier.
Once again the news is filled with the story of a school shooting. The story of assault rifles in the hands of people who shouldn’t have them. The story of assault rifles.. and as usual one side expresses their thoughts and prayers with their belief that everyone has a right to carry those assault weapons. And while the other side of the political spectrum would like to see the assault rifles band and destroyed I don’t ever see that happening in America. There’s just too much money involved.
I made an appointment today to go see a lady about some paintings… There is a lady who lives not too far away who I met through eBay when I bought a GC Myers painting online. Turned out she lives quite close and I went ahead and picked it up personally rather than having it shipped, And at the time, I picked up a couple of other paintings from her. So last week I called her to see if she still had any she was wanting to sell.. today I go collecting.
So, before I hit the road I need to finish my coffee, eat some breakfast, take some meds.. so y’all stay safe, stay healthy, and pray for a dysfunctional nation…
