Monday March 6th

The overcast is back this morning, along with the heat. But I stepped out on the back porch it was already 65°. The projected high for today is headed towards 80° again.

But the world is definitely in spring mode. The birds are singing their territorial songs… Seemingly from every tree.

And speaking of trees, the only things not showing any green at this point are the mimosa and the pecan trees. Everything else has at least begun to bud out.

Well, the bus has come and gone, the grandkids are on their way to school… So I’m going to head back in to my cup of coffee. Y’all have a good day and I’ll catch y’all on the other side…
