Monday February 27th

Today on the back porch it starts out at 72°. There’s a bit more color to the east than the last week has brought. There’s even more color on the ground… Green is taking over.

I think this will go down in the memory books as the year of never-ending summer. Every day it seems the temperature on the backporch by early afternoon is above 85°. Now the backporch is a south facing sun sink so it’s always a few degrees warmer than the ambient temperature… but, come on… It’s still February.

It’s almost time to get the grandkids out the door to catch the bus… so… I’ll catch y’all on the other side…
